No ghosts tonight, thanks

OK, last night was notable mainly for the fact that I didn‘t watch “Ghost Hunters International,” for once.  I like the domestic version better. Just can’t beat the original duo of Grant and Jason. They have the  skepticism required to make the show even vaguely believable. Conversely, GHI’s Barry is spooked by everything. I’d like not to believe it’s because he’s Irish, but you know, there is that tradition of fairies and everything. Also, it bugs me that international ghosts are expected to understand English. Especially ones from the Middle Ages, when English didn’t even sound like English.

Of course, the GHI team do get to visit incredible places (castles and such) around the world, so the show is sort of worthwhile as a travel program.

By the way, does anyone think that SciFi’s switch to “Syfy” is a good thing?

GHI does not compare to GH. Next week they are back — thank goodness.
